- 2 medium cucumbers, peeled and sliced thinly
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. cumin (fried and ground) or powder
- 1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
- 10 oz. plain yogurt
Directions

1Slice the cucumbers; sprinkle 1 teaspoon salt and let them sit for 15 minutes.

2In another bowl, mix 10 ounces unflavored plain yogurt, 1/2 teaspoon sugar, 1/4 teaspoon cumin and the 1/2 medium sized onion.

3Whip the yogurt mixture with a spoon.

4Add the cucumbers and chill.

5Garnish with 2 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro leaves.
