- juice and pulp of 1 lime
- 1 tsp. honey
- 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp. curry powder
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 c. fresh sweet cherries
Directions

1In a small saucepan, combine lime juice and pulp, honey, ginger, cinnamon, curry and bay leaves.

2Heat over low heat until honey becomes liquid, then stir well to combine.

3Rinse and pit cherries. Add them, still wet, to the saucepan.

4Simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently, until cherries are slightly wilted and are well coated with curry mixture, about 5 minutes. Serve warm with roasted meat or poultry.
