- 1 chicken, cut into pieces
- oil for frying
- 2 onions, diced
- 1 c. rice, uncooked
- 1 tsp. curry powder
- 2 to 3 c. chicken broth
- salt
Directions

1Brown chicken pieces in oil.

2Remove from skillet and drain. Leave crumbs; add 2 tablespoons oil.

3Add diced onion to oil and cook until yellow.

4Add uncooked rice and curry powder.

5Stir well.

6Add chicken broth and salt to taste.

7Place in a casserole dish and lay chicken on top of rice.

8Cover.
-
9Cook 45 to 60 minutes or until rice is done.
