Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked pie shell
  • 1 can unsweetened milk
  • 1 1/2 c. hot water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 eggs, well beaten
  • nutmeg or cinnamon

Directions

    Preheat oven to 425°.

    Mix milk, water, salt and vanilla.

    Add eggs; mix well.

    Pour in shell.

    Sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg. Bake for 10 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 300° and bake 25 to 30 minutes, until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

    Cool to room temperature.

    Chill.

    Refrigerate any left over.
