  • 1 1/8 cups cake flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 3/8 teaspoons baking powder
  • 4 3/4 tablespoons chocolate chips
  • salt
  • 7 3/8 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 13/16 cup buttermilk
  • 1 egg
  • 5/8 cup dark chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 tablespoons water

    Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius.

    In a bowl, add the flour, sugar, baking powder, chocolate chips, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.

    In a separate bowl, add the oil, buttermilk, and egg and mix well.

    Combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix well.

    Fill muffin pans 2/3 full and bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Test with a toothpick.

    In a double boiler, melt the chocolate with the water on low heat and stir continuously with a wooden spoon.

    Bring to a boil, remove the oan from the heat and add the butter.
