- 1/2 c. margarine
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 c. chopped dates
- 4 eggs, well beaten
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. nuts, chopped fine
- 4 c. Rice Krispies
- flaked coconut
Directions

1Combine first 4 ingredients; cook slowly in an iron skillet at 350° for about 15 minutes, or until thick, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add vanilla, nuts and Rice Krispies.

2Cool slightly.

3Shape into balls with buttered hands.

4Roll in coconut. Keep in a cool place.
