Ingredients

  • 1 lb. chopped dates
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 c. coconut

Directions

    Cook dates, oleo, egg yolks, sugar and vanilla in a heavy iron pan, over low heat, until dates dissolve.

    Cool 10 minutes; add Rice Krispies and pecans.

    Cool until mixture can be handled.
  4. 4
    Roll into small balls, then roll in coconut.
