  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. dates, chopped
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
  • coconut

Directions

    Mix sugar, butter, egg and dates in saucepan.

    Bring to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly for 10 minutes.

    Cool.

    In a bowl mix Rice Krispies and nuts; pour into date mixture.

    Use hands to mix thoroughly.
  6. 6
    Form into small balls and roll in sugar or coconut.
