Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped dates
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies
  • coconut or confectioners sugar

Directions

    Mix together and cook butter, egg, dates and sugar for 5 minutes over medium heat.

    Remove from heat and add vanilla and cereal; mix.
  3. 3
    When cool enough to handle shape into balls and roll in either coconut or confectioners sugar.
