- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 1/2 c. chopped dates
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. Rice Krispies
- coconut or confectioners sugar
Directions

1Mix together and cook butter, egg, dates and sugar for 5 minutes over medium heat.

2Remove from heat and add vanilla and cereal; mix.

3When cool enough to handle shape into balls and roll in either coconut or confectioners sugar.
