Date Loaf Candy

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. milk (you may substitute 1/2 c. canned milk and 1/4 c. whole milk)
  • 1 c. dates, chopped fine
  • 1 c. nuts, chopped

Directions

    Cook sugar and milk until it forms a very soft ball.

    Add dates and stir well.
  3. 3
    Cook until this forms a firm soft ball.

    Add nuts and beat until thick enough to spread on a wet towel; work into a long log.

    Leave a few minutes and then wrap well in wax paper until ready to eat.
