  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 1/4 c. applesauce
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. cloves
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped dates
  • 1/2 c. walnuts, chopped

Directions

    Cream margarine and sugar.

    Add eggs and applesauce.

    Mix well. Add flour, soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Mix well.

    Add dates and walnuts.

    Bake in cupcake pan at 375° until done.
