  • 1 stick margarine or butter, melted in pan
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 c. chopped dates
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • coconut

Directions

    Melt margarine or butter in pan.

    Add sugar, egg, dates and pecans.

    Cook on low heat until it boils.

    Take off heat and stir in Rice Krispies and vanilla.

    Let cool.

    Form into balls. Roll in coconut.
