- 1 stick margarine or butter, melted in pan
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 c. chopped dates
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- coconut
Directions

1Melt margarine or butter in pan.

2Add sugar, egg, dates and pecans.

3Cook on low heat until it boils.

4Take off heat and stir in Rice Krispies and vanilla.

5Let cool.

6Form into balls. Roll in coconut.
