- 1 small pkg. seedless dates, chopped
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
- 3 c. Rice Krispies
Directions

1Mix first 4 ingredients and cook slowly for 6 minutes in saucepan (or may be cooked in microwave; stir every 2 minutes), stirring frequently.

2When mixture cools slightly, add vanilla, nuts and Rice Krispies.

3Stir until gooey and form into small balls.

4Put powdered sugar in sack and shake.

5Or you may place powdered sugar in a medium bowl and roll.

6Place in airtight container.
