- 2 c. sugar
- 1 pkg. dates, cut fine
- 1 c. milk
- 2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Combine sugar and milk; cook to soft ball stage (234°).

2Add the dates and allow to melt.

3Cook slightly and beat until creamy. Add 2 cups chopped nuts.

4Pour onto a damp tea towel and roll to form a 1 1/2-inch roll.

5Roll in 1 cup of nuts, cut fine.

6Allow to stand in refrigerator 2 to 3 hours.

7Cut into slices 1/2 inch thick.
