  • 1 pkg. dates
  • dash of salt
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 1 c. sweet milk
  • 1 c. crystallized cherries
  • butter, size of an egg

Directions

    Mix sugar, salt, milk and butter.

    Boil 5 minutes; add dates. Cook until creamy.
  3. 3
    Test firm ball in cold water.
  4. 4
    Beat and add cherries and nuts.
  5. 5
    Pour on wax paper or roll in damp cloth.
  6. 6
    Cut when cool.
