- 1 stick margarine
- 1 lb. pitted dates
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 3 c. Rice Krispies
- coconut
Directions

1Mix margarine, dates, vanilla and sugar in saucepan and cook on low heat for 5 minutes.

2Add egg and cook 5 minutes longer, until dates are all mixed.

3Remove from heat and add Rice Krispies.

4Let cool and roll into balls.

5Roll in coconut.
