Ingredients

  • 10 or more slices white bread (to fill pan)
  • butter
  • salt and pepper
  • 9 eggs
  • 3 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb. hot link sausage, cooked and drained

Directions

    Butter bread slices one side only.

    Place one slice on top of buttered side to make sandwiches. Remove crusts and cut into fourths.

    Cover the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan with buttered sandwiches.

    Mix together eggs, milk, salt, pepper and dry mustard.

    Pour over bread.

    Cover with grated cheese and crumble sausage.

    Refrigerate overnight.

    The next day, bake at 350° for 1 hour or until set.
