- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 tsp. sage
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 4 c. chopped, cooked chicken
- 2 c. (8 oz.) Cheddar cheese
- 10 oz. frozen broccoli, chopped, cooked and drained
- 1 (8 oz.) can crescent rolls
Directions

1Saute onion in butter.

2Blend in flour and seasonings. Gradually add milk.

3Cook until thickened.

4Add chicken, cheese and broccoli.

5Pour into an 11 x 7-inch baking dish.

6Separate dough into 1 large and 2 small rectangles.

7Press perforations together.

8Cut into 12 strips and place on casserole in lattice form.

9Brush with butter.

10Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.
