- 1 c. chopped potato
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 3 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme, savory or sage, crushed
- 1 1/4 c. beef broth
- 1 1/2 c. loose-pack frozen peas and carrots
- 2 c. cubed, cooked beef, pork, lamb or veal
- pastry for single-crust pie
Directions

1Prepare pastry.

2Roll pastry into a 12-inch circle.

3Cover and set aside.

4In a medium saucepan, cook potato and onion in margarine over medium heat, stirring constantly, for 5 to 6 minutes or until onion is tender, but not brown.

5Stir in flour, herb and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.

6Add broth all at once.

7Stir in peas and carrots.

8Cook and stir until bubbly.
