Ingredients
- 1 lb. fresh pork sausage or smoked sausage
- 1 lb. ground deer
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 c. milk
- 4 to 5 crushed crackers
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 c. Smokin Grill barbecue sauce (from Newson's Store in Princeton) or any other smoky flavored barbecue sauce.
- 1/2 c. strained honey
Directions

1Combine first 7 ingredients and mix well.

2Add 1/2 cup barbecue sauce and mix again.

3Form into an oblong loaf.

4Spread 1/2 cup barbecue sauce on top.

5More may be used, if desired. Then drizzle half the honey over all.

6Bake at 350° for approximately 45 minutes.

7Remove loaf and repeat barbecue sauce and honey method over all when loaf is half done.

8You may brown the top for additional flavor.
