Deviled Crabs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. fresh crab meat
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 2 slightly beaten eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp. grated onion
  • dash of Tabasco sauce
  • 2 c. fresh bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. butter, melted

Directions

    Remove any shell from crab and set aside.

    Combine remaining ingredients, except bread crumbs and butter.

    Add crab meat to mixture and use to fill 4 or 6 scallop shells or crab ramekins (depending on size).

    Top with crumbs that have been tossed with butter.

    Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
