- 2 c. water
- 2 c. raisins
- 1 c. unsweetened applesauce
- 2 eggs
- Sweet 'N Low or sweetener equal to 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg or allspice
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- pinch of salt
Directions

1Boil water and raisins until water is gone; let cool.

2Add applesauce, eggs, sweetener and oil; mix together.

3Blend in the rest of the ingredients.

4Spoon into greased 11 x 17-inch pan and bake at 350° for 35 minutes.

5Bake longer if pan is smaller.

6When cool, cut in bars.
