- 4 lb. pickling cucumbers
- 6 Tbsp. salt
- 3 c. distilled white vinegar
- 3 c. water
- 3/4 to 1 c. dill seed
- 21 peppercorns
Directions

1Wash cucumbers thoroughly; cut in half lengthwise.

2Combine salt, vinegar and water.

3Heat to boiling.

4Pack cucumbers into clean, hot jars.

5Add 2 tablespoons dill seed and 3 peppercorns to each jar.

6Fill with boiling pickling syrup to within 1/2-inch from top of jar.

7Immediately seal and process in boiling water 10 minutes.
