- 1 pkg. yeast
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt (optional)
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 4 tsp. dill seed
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. onion, minced
- 1 egg
- 1 c. cottage cheese (creamed)
Directions

1Soften yeast.

2Add cottage cheese, sugar, onion, butter, dill, salt, soda and egg.

3Alternately add flour.

4Beat well.

5Let rise about 1 to 2 hours.

6Stir dough to decrease bubbling.

7Put batter into 1 or 2 loaf pans.

8Let rise 30 more minutes.

9Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes.

10Brush with butter.
