- fresh okra
- dill seed
- hot pepper
- garlic cloves
- 1 qt. white vinegar
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. pure salt
Directions

1Put 1/2 teaspoon dill seed in bottom of each quart jar.

2Pack washed fresh okra as tightly as possible in each jar, being careful not to bruise.

3Add 1 or 2 pods red and green hot pepper and one or more garlic cloves to each jar.

4Boil vinegar, water and salt.

5Cover okra with mixture.

6Seal.

7Ready to eat in 4 to 6 weeks.
