- 1 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 8 slices crisp bacon
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh dill or 2 tsp. dried
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1 egg
Directions

1Mix all dry ingredients, add crumbled bacon along with dill. Mix in

2separate bowl, the liquid ingredients and stir into cornmeal mixture until just combined.

3Spoon into greased 8 x 8-inch pan or cornstick mold.
