- 1 envelope active dry yeast
- 1/4 c warm water
- 1 c creamed cottage cheese, heated to lukewarm
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp instant minced onion
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 2 tsp dill seed or weed
- 1/2 tsp sesame seed
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 egg
- 2 1/4 - 2 1/2 c flour
- softened butter
- coarse salt
Directions

1Soften yeast in water.

2Combine cottage cheese, sugar, onion, butter, dill seed, sesame seeds, salt, soda, egg and softened yeast in mixer bowl.

3Add flour slowly to form a stiff dough, beating well after each addition.

4Cover; let rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk.

5Stir down dough and turn into well greased casserole.

6Let rise until light.

7Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until golden brown.

8Brush with soft butter and sprinkle with coarse salt.

9Makes 1 round loaf.
