- 1 box German chocolate cake mix or devil's food for a darker cake
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. stick oleo or stick margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Bake cake mix according to directions and cool completely. Cut in 1/2 lengthwise.

2Cook flour and milk; stir frequently until thick.

3Cool completely.

4Beat sugar, oleo or margarine and vanilla until fluffy.

5Add flour/milk mixture.

6Beat 10 minutes. Put flour, milk, sugar, oleo mixture on bottom 1/2 of cake.

7Top with other 1/2 cake.

8Frost all sides with your favorite chocolate icing. If your filling is a little runny, place in refrigerator a few minutes before adding top layer.
