- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 6 c. plain flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. warm water
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
Directions

1Boil 1 cup water, add butter and shortening.

2Stir until melted.

3Add sugar and salt.

4Cool to lukewarm.

5Mix yeast in 1 cup warm water.

6When dissolved, add to mixture.

7Add 2 eggs.

8Add 6 cups flour or enough to make thick dough.

9Mix thoroughly. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
