  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 2 c. liquid shortening
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. quick cooking oatmeal, not cooked
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 4 c. corn flakes
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

    Separate dough into different batches.

    Add chocolate chips, nuts or raisins to give different cookies.

    Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.

    Bake at 325° for 8 to 10 minutes.

    Makes about 10 dozen.
