Directions

   Combine sugar, syrup, and water.

   Bring to a soft boil over medium heat.

   Beat egg whites.

   Add 12 tablespoons of syrup mixture to beaten eggs.

   Bring rest of mixture to a hard boil.

   While beating, add rest of syrup mixture.

   Beat to desired consistency, adding vanilla while beating.

   Drop by teaspoon onto waxed paper.
