Directions

1Cook the first 4 ingredients until hard ball in cold water or soft crack on thermometer.

2While it is cooking, beat egg whites until stiff.

3When mixture gets ready, beat egg whites in, a little at a time, and beat until it loses its gloss.

4When it starts thickening, add nuts, then beat.

5Put on wax paper by tablespoons.
