  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 cup yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 12 cup pine nuts
  • 14 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 3 scallions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh mint
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 12 teaspoon allspice
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 34 cup lemon juice
  • leafy greens

Directions

    Combine all ingredients (first 12).

    With a 16 oz jar of grape leaves, remove stems, place shiny side down and wrap 1 Tbsp of mixture in leaf.

    Layer in a pot along w/ leafy greens & simmer in stock & lemon juice 1 hour.

    Allow to cool before transfering.
