  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar, grated
  • dash of Tabasco
  • 2 c. flour
  • dash of salt
  • 3 Tbsp. cold water
  • pecan halves

Directions

    Mix butter and grated Cheddar at room temperature. Add Tabasco. Add flour. Mix like cookie dough. Add water; mix further until ready to roll out. Roll out and cut with round cookie cutter.

    Place half pecan on round and fold over, crimping edges. Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes. Will freeze. Heat before serving.
