- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. rolled oats
- 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. soda
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 3 c. applesauce
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 c. raisins or chopped dates
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Directions

1Stir together dry ingredients well, including sugar.

2Mix applesauce, eggs, oil, raisins and nuts; stir into dry ingredients.

3Mix only until blended.

4Pour into lined muffin cups (fill 1/2 full) and bake at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes.
