Double Chocolate Chip Bars

  • 2 rolls refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
  • 1 (15 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (12 oz.) chocolate chips
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Remove wrapping from dough and press 2/3 of each roll of dough into bottom of one ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan.

    Over low heat, in saucepan, stir together condensed milk, chocolate chips and salt until melted and remove from heat.

    Stir in vanilla.

    Pour and spread chocolate mixture over dough in pan. Cut remaining dough into chunks and randomly place on top of chocolate.

    Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes until golden. Cool; cut into bars.

    These freeze well.
