Ingredients

  • 4 c. quick oats (uncooked) or 4 1/2 c. old fashioned oats (uncooked)
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. butter, melted
  • 1/2 c. honey or corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon (optional)

Directions

    Combine all ingredients; mix well.

    Press firmly into well-greased 15 x 10-inch pan.

    Bake in preheated very hot oven (450° to 425°) for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.

    Cool thoroughly; cut into bars.
