Ingredients

  • 6 or 7 tart apples
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 3 Tbsp. cream, cider or milk
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Combine all the above ingredients (except apples) and heat to boiling point in heavy pan on top of stove.

    Then pour over apples in pan lined with unbaked crust.

    Add top crust.

    Seal and bake at 400° to 425° for 30 minutes or until done.
