Double Fudge Hazelnut Pie

Ingredients
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. heavy cream
- 1/2 c. hazelnut liquor
- 1 stick melted butter
- 3/4 c. hazelnut halves
- 1 c. chocolate chips
- 1 (9-inch) pie shell (unbaked)
Directions

1Mix sugar and cocoa thoroughly; add to the eggs.

2Add the corn syrup, cream, hazelnut liquor and melted butter.

3Mix well by hand.

4Add the hazelnuts and chocolate chips.

5Mix and pour into pie shell.

6Bake 45 to 50 minutes in 350° oven until filling is set.

7It will puff up slightly and cracks will form around edges. As pie cools, it will settle.

8Texture is similar to a wet brownie.

9Taste is scrumptious fudge.
