Double Pie Crusts

  • 2 1/2 c. plain flour
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. Crisco shortening

Directions

    Sift dry ingredients together.

    Cut in shortening until crumbly.

    Add water and form dough into 2 balls.

    Roll out on floured surface in circle.

    Place in pie tin and fill with favorite fruit filling.

    Place second crust on top of filling. Bake at 350° until brown, about 35 minutes.
