  • 1 (15 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
  • 3 to 4 c. fresh or frozen blueberries or 2 cans apple or cherry pie filling
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 box dry yellow cake mix
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 c. coconut (optional), sprinkled on top
  • 3/4 stick margarine or butter, melted

Directions

    Spray bottom of 13 x 9 x 2-inch glass dish with Pam or Baker's Joy.

    Spread pineapple in bottom of dish.

    Layer blueberries on pineapple.

    Sprinkle sugar on blueberries.

    Spread dry cake mix over berries; sprinkle nuts on top of mix.

    Drizzle margarine over nuts.

    Cook in oven at 350° for 1 hour.

    Make slits through cake at 15-minute intervals.
