  • 1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 (16 oz.) can pie filling (cherry, apple, etc.)
  • 1 pkg. gold/yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick butter or margarine

Directions

    Spread pineapple over the bottom of an 11 x 9 x 1-inch pan. Cover pineapple with fruit pie filling.

    Cover completely with cake mix.

    Slice butter in 1/4-inch slices and cover all over cake mix. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes until golden brown.
