- 3 c. stew meat, cooked, seasoned and cut in pieces
- 2 c. rice, cooked and salted
- 2 Tbsp. butter, added to rice when tender
- 1 1/2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 (8 oz.) can whole kernel corn
- 1 (8 oz.) can English peas
- 1 c. beef broth or 1 can celery soup
- bacon slices, added last
Directions

1Use 1/2 of the ingredients and layer in order.

2Do this twice. Pour the soup or broth over top and cook in a preheated oven at 400° for 1 hour.

3If it starts to dry out on top, put a piece of foil on top.

4Remove foil and top with bacon strips.

5Let cook until bacon is crisp.
