  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 tblsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3 1/4 cup pared sliced apples
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 tblsp melted butter
