- 2 pkg. frozen green beans
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- freshly ground pepper
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1/4 c. honey
- 1 1/2 c. bean liquid plus water
- 1/4 c. diced pimento
Directions

1Cook beans according to package directions.

2Drain, saving liquid.

3Melt butter in skillet.

4Add onion and cook until soft. Add flour and seasonings.

5Stir in vinegar and honey.

6Gradually add liquid.

7Cook over low heat, stirring until sauce is smooth and thickened.

8Remove from heat.

9Add beans and pimentos.

10Toss together.
