Ingredients

  • 1 lb bacon
  • 1 lb flat noodles, cooked
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen spinach
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup butter (the real thing)
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • salt and black pepper
  • cayenne pepper

Directions

    Cook bacon until crisp then crumble and set aside.

    Thaw frozen spinach and squeeze out water.

    Melt butter in large saucepan.

    Add spinach and garlic and saute 3-5 minutes on medium heat.

    In saucepan combine all remaining ingredients and heat over low heat for five minutes.

    Pour over noodles, add bacon and toss gently.
