- 10 to 12 apples, peeled and sliced medium thick
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
Directions

1Place apples in greased 7 x 11 x 1 1/2-inch pan.

2(Pan should be 1/2 to 3/4 full.)

3Blend butter, sugar and flour until crumbly. Scatter over apples and pat down.

4Two tablespoons water should be sprinkled over apples first.

5Bake at 375° for 45 to 55 minutes.

6Can be served plain or with whipped cream, milk or ice cream.

7Good cold.
