Easy Cheesy Chicken Corn Chowder

  • 1 large Cooked diced Chicken Breast ( i used a marinated grilled breast)
  • 1 can Golden Kernel Corn (drained)
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 3/4 cup Flour
  • 1/2 cup Onion, chopped
  • 1 cup Milk (i used almond milk)
  • 2 1/2 cup Chicken Broth (or more,depending on how thick you like your soup)
  • 2 cup Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Salt, Pepper,Cayenne, Garlic Powder, Dill

Directions

    In a large saucepan, melt butter then saute onion until tender on medium heat.

    Stir in flour and spices until rich,smooth and thick.

    Bring to a low boil.

    Add broth and milk, keep at a low boil.

    Bring back down to a simmer.Add chicken and corn, stir in until heated through.

    Remove from heat and add cheese til melted.

    Serve with crusty bread to dip, enjoy!
