- 3 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 1/2 c. scalded milk
- 1 (10 oz.) can minced clams with broth
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- ground pepper
- 18 saltines, crushed
- 1 can cream of mushroom or Cheddar cheese soup
- 1/2 c. milk or water
Directions

1Stir margarine into warm milk to melt.

2Stir in clams, eggs, onion, salt and pepper to blend.

3Stir in crackers until thoroughly blended.

4Pour into greased 1 1/2-quart casserole. Bake in preheated 350° oven until puffed and golden, about 40 to 45 minutes.

5Serve with sauce made of soup blended with 1/2 cup milk or water.
