  • 1 1/2 c. finely chopped Spanish onions
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 3 c. biscuit baking mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 tsp. dried dill weed

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°. In a large skillet, saute the onion in the butter for 5 to 7 minutes until tender. Meanwhile, combine all remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Add onions, mixing just until blended. Spoon into a greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes until golden.
